Tuesday (3 March 2020), the Co-chairs of the Democratic Union Party (PYD), Aisha Hasso and Anwar Muslim, received a delegation from the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party.
The delegation was received at the party’s center by the joint party presidency, Anwar Muslim, Aisha Hasso, and member of the Executive Committee Abdul Karim Sarukhan.
The delegation of the Syrian Kurdish Democrat included the Secretary-General of the Syrian Kurdish Democratic Party, Jamal Sheikh Baqi, Fathallah Hasso, Jamal Hamo, members of the political bureau of the party, a member of the Central Committee Nazem Darwish and the administrative official Hussein Dari, in the general center of the Democratic Union PYD.
Mr. Jamal Sheikh congratulated the rest of our party for convening its eighth conference in this sensitive phase the region is going through, especially since the northern Syria has become an important role in the Syrian issue that will not be resolved by the military option, while I thanked the joint presidency of our party, Mr. Jamal, for this visit.
During the meeting, the two parties discussed the distinguished relationship that unites them, and praised the joint struggle to achieve the hopes and aspirations of the peoples of the region.
The two parties also pointed to the risks to the region in general and the need to form a national unity to be a strong barrier in the face of all attempts that target the will of the people of the region by occupying their lands.
