Hundreds of people from Tel Hamis, Tel Berak and Qamishlo continue to participate in the tenth day of human shields on the border strip west of Serikanya, in light of Turkish threats to invade and occupy northern and eastern Syria.
PYD and Delegations from political parties including the Leftist Kurdish party in Syria, the Kurdistan Peace Party, the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria (Parti), the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria and the Future Syria Party visited the tent.
After holding a minute of silence, Mustafa Farhan gave a speech on behalf of the parties participating in the sit-in.
Farhan pointed out that Turkey’s goal under the leadership of the Justice and Development Party is to threaten the areas of northern and eastern Syria, and to hit the gains achieved during the seven years on the ground thanks to thousands of martyrs and sacrifices.
Mustafa Farhan pointed out at the end of his speech that they stand with their families in northern and eastern Syria against these threats, adding“Our mission is peace, freedom and democracy.”
