The Autonomous Administration in Kobani canton held an expanded meeting of members of the Autonomous Administration institutions, the Democratic Union Party and the communes, to denounce the threats of Turkish fascism to launch an attack on northern and eastern Syria.
The meeting started by holding a minute of silence in memory of the lives of the martyrs. After that, Fawzia Youssef spoke on behalf of Autonomous Administration by talking about the struggle and resistance of Kobani and the people’s courage to eliminate terrorists from the city. She pointed to the great sacrifices made by the fighters to defeat Daesh in North and East of Syria
She continued: Turkey has not only occupied Afrin and displace its people and looted and robbed their property, now wants to occupy areas of northeastern Syria as the “safe area”.
It concluded by saying: Turkey is seeking through its occupation of Afrin and its threats today to launch an attack on the regions of northern and eastern Syria to eliminate the Kurds and hit the project of Democratic Autonomous Administration, but we emphasize the struggle and resistance and stand in the face of any attack.
